An evil generation seeks a sign (Luke 11:29). When things are bad among men, God intervenes miraculously, such as among the demonic strongholds on the frontiers of the Gospel. Otherwise, God uses His mature and Spirit-filled people to exercise His power. The body of Christ is both the object and means of His kingdom. We’re a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. To seek signs is to presume on God for goodies without taking kingdom responsibility by faith.
