We found in the classroom, one of the best means of persuasion was illustrating the likely consequences of humanistic vs godly thought and action. Also, the work of Dan Smithwick and Nehemiah Institute shows that mere evangelicalism tracks downward in parallel with materialistic thinking as the church loses its ability to apply the faith to every area of life. The only educational view that is relatively holding its own is the historic evangelical faith APPLIED to all of life.
