A Trump Techno-Oligarchy?

We do need to understand. I can’t judge the slant of the article. I don’t know enough about this movement, its character.

In principle, a technocracy or techno-oligarchy would be bad, of course. We’ve seen the sci fi movies.

Regarding reducing regulation and releasing the marketplace, we must replace it with a full-bodied, Biblically grounded judicial system that will go after those big businesses that abuse their public trust with unjust, bullying tactics to build trans-government empires. But again, regulation isn’t Biblical and doesn’t work. Businesses buy the regulators.

The answer is a free market wielded by a people who fear God and understand the underlying premise of the marketplace is love your neighbor. In a society populated by skilled, wise people of character and faith, there is no need to control the market, because we trust God more than ourselves. But we do need a Deuteronomy One judicial system from the neighborhood up.

With disempowering the regulatory system, we must return to the common law of Scripture.

I have found in any such discussion the above is really the only answer. That is what my book is about. The need then is to rise up and build, grow in godly responsibility.

Regarding Trump, I hope this is not correct, that yet another evil element attempts to coopt his clout by taking advantage of his ingenuousness. If he is not truly constitutional in his convictions, then he is another wolf in sheep’s clothing. I pray that is not true.
