God did not create a merely spiritual world per much of Eastern and Greek religion. He made spiritual creatures in bodies of flesh requiring economic activity to support a spirit life. It is complex, and all activities of life matter toward our eternal destination–family, business, church, civil politics, science, arts, even leisure, recreation and rest. It is His kingdom, and we must seek His ways in all things–taking every thought captive to Christ.
